2014 Grüner Veltliner


Descriptors – Peach, pear, celery and white pepper with a hint of minerality.  
Food Pairings – Roasted meats, soft cheeses and spicy Asian cuisine.  

This is our third vintage of this varietal. This wine showcases a pure and wonderful interpretation of the most widely planted grape in all of Austria.

Vineyard: 100% Hazlitt 1852 Lamoreaux Farm
Harvest: 10/10/2014, 23.2° Brix, 5.97 TA, 3.4 pH
Fermentation: Stainless Steel, 11° C cool fermentation with Alpha, NT1116 and 58W3 yeasts.  
Ageing: 3 months on light lees.  
Final Analysis: 0.35% RS, 13.2% alc., 5.0 TA, 3.36 pH
Bottled: 9/22/2015, 1290 gallons = 542 cases
